Slovenia Pilot
The Slovenian pilot explores next-generation motorhome electrification by increasing the integration of rooftop photovoltaic systems with drivetrain and auxiliary functions. Moving beyond standalone rooftop PV acting as a backup energy source, it aims to develop standardised and efficient energy management for both stationary and on-the-move use cases. Not bound to a specific geo-location, the pilot testing will be executed in Slovenia and Italy.
The demonstration aims to support a combination of advanced control, bidirectional power exchange, and real-world testing to enable smarter, self-sustaining recreational vehicles, and potentially support the grid flexibility services by integrating new use cases such as V2X based on innovative vehicle architectures.
Start pilot: November 2026
End pilot: January 2029
