The Greek ePIPV pilot demonstrates the smart integration of photovoltaic generation with municipal EV charging infrastructure in Athens. The pilot focuses on improving PV self-consumption, optimising EV charging operations, and assessing the flexibility potential of municipal ePIPVs.

Through the implementation of smart energy management strategies, the demonstrator will optimise charging operations while maintaining service quality for EV users. In addition, the pilot will assess the operational flexibility potential of municipal ePIPVs, including load shifting and peak demand management capabilities. By combining renewable energy generation with intelligent charging control, the pilot supports the City of Athens in reducing grid dependency and advancing sustainable urban mobility solutions.
