IECON is a global platform for the exchange of ideas and best practices, as well as research advancements and real-world industrial applications.
IEEE IECON is the flagship yearly conference of the IEEE Industrial Electronics Society, devoted to the dissemination of new ideas, research and works in progress in the fields of power electronics, smart grids, electrification, AI, industrial informatics, advanced control systems, and more.
The 52nd edition will take place from 18 to 21 October 2026 in a hybrid format, in-person in the city of Doha, a renowned hub for innovation, and online, offering online presentation and participation options for authors and attendees who are unable to travel.
This year’s program includes inspiring and engaging workshops, tutorials, panels, keynotes, and presentations of original research and industrial applications.
The conference embraces diverse topics, including (but not limited to): power systems, power electronics, renewable energy, smart cities, smart grids, digital twins, robotics and mechatronics, data centres, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence for industrial processes, and industry 5.0.
