The Turkish pilot addresses the lack of real-world benchmarks for integrating photovoltaic (PV) systems with electric passenger buses and opportunity charging. Existing e-bus trials rarely combine PV generation, fast charging, and operational data. This pilot closes that gap by demonstrating PV-integrated opportunity charging on a campus microgrid, while capturing route-based solar potential, passenger demand, and system performance to support scalable EV-VIPV deployment.
